Here are the pictures I owe you! Yesterday we arrived in Oklahoma! If you look very closely you will see a gardener crouched down at this welcome center sign. The garderners looked at us like we were crazy. We never saw the welcome sign crossing state lines so I guess this one will do.
We stopped to get gas in Oklahoma and this was right before we hit a huge down pour. It was awesome!
And, we have arrived home! It was hot as all get out at this sign, but we absolutely love it! I think about 100 people told us that we would hate the heat and humidity, so that just gives us more fuel in the fire to absolutely love it! Bring on the sweat and stinky pits!!
This is just one portion of the view we get standing in front of the Stephens home, where we will be staying. We are so grateful for them taking us in. I was a little embarrased by how many clothes that we had to unload out of the car. I actually think Kyle brought more though! Haha! We went to Walmart and bought a hanging rack and some storage containers.
Here we are last night getting settled in, and off course Kyle had to play with his guns. This is Arkansas after all.
We are currently sitting at a Subway right now in order to get this Wifi connection. We are unable to get a connection at the house except on our phones. We just picked up a Police appliction for the town of Greenwood. They are really growing our cousin said, they have close to 7,000! Yaaa! We are just really praying for our next step...ok God, we have eaten lunch, now where would you like us to go...
My mom reccomended that we read the book "Heaven is For Real", which we have finished about 2/3 of the way on the way here... It talks about a little boy who while getting surgery had a few moments in heaven. He slowly recounts what he experienced to his parents over the next few years. At first I was skeptical, but as you read, you see that things he says could not be made up, and really align with what the Bible says about God and heaven. I read Mark 10 this morning. In this chapter it talks about the importance of having a childlike faith. I have been realizing how hard this is for me. I get too swept up in the worries of the world and the fact that the job market is bad right now. But in Mark 10:27 "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.'" ALL things. So here's to being a child again! Free of control, free of worry, that is what he wants for me today.
So happy you made it!!!!! Praise God! So excited to see where he leads you next! Praying for you!
