God has kept us safe!

So here we are like two fools taking a picture with the Arizona sign in the pitch black.
It took a lot longer to drive through each state then we thought but we eventually made it to New Mexico around 4:30 A.M. or so...
Note to self...when traveling long distance don't pack so much stuff in the car so that you can lean your seat back to sleep. We switched off driving throughout the night, Kyle my hero did most of the driving of course. Then, we eventually made it to Texas...
We decided it would be best to stop in Amarillo and sleep since we didn't get much over night sitting up right. While waiting for our hotel to get ready, we stopped at a cowboy clothing store.

Kyle also tried on some Wranglers, but that picture was PG-13 :)
I was very tempted to buy a whole outfit for Kyle, but we decided we should probably get jobs first because dressing like a cowboy is expensive.
Currently we are napping and about to go enjoy some Texas BBQ somewhere. There are about 21 BBQ places within 5 miles so it will be hard to decide which one.
Reality is really starting to set in here in Texas to us two California born and raised. So we continue to pray and ask God to renew our faith and take away our fears. He is Faithful. Was set to read Mark 9 today and verse 23 is a direct answer to my fear of our unknown future- "And Jesus said to him, 'All things are possible to him who believes.'" Thank you my dear friend Sarah for reminding me that GOD IS FOR US! You are in my constant thoughts and prayers friends and family! Love you!
