Happy Saturday!! We just got some rain yesterday so everyone is happy around here. I subbed 1st grade yesterday, and the rain started during recess. Every boom of thunder was followed by 100 children screaming. It was hilarious. Today I am at the laundry mat. It has been a slow day.
The past week has been busy but really amazing, just feeling like we are finally getting settled in and forming routines. Kyle is continuing to enjoy his job and comes home with interesting stories about his trainers. Yikes! He can't wait to feel like he has mastered the different jobs in the mill. I have been subbing a lot and working two days a week at the Hackett laundry mat. I am getting to know more teachers and secretaries, frequenting at the same schools so I am thankful for that.
We have decided to go to a branch off of Community Bible in a town a little closer to us. We will be going to a new small group this week! We are excited!
Grandma Cook is in town so we got to have lunch with her and go to Crystal Bridges art museum. She also came over to see our house and eat with us on Thursday along with Aunt Mary, Gladys, and Gladys' sister in law. It was a lot of fun. Today we will be going to Aunt Mary's 95th birthday party!
As I reflect on the time we have been here so far I think of our start, how full of faith we were that God would make a way. At times I found myself doubting or letting Satans lies of fear and loneliness creep in. Today I look back and see God's amazing hand on us daily and I hope we can Show The World His Goodness!! We are never alone. I felt so attacked a few weeks ago and I know it is because I am a threat to Satan and I am making a difference for Gods kingdom. May you go with courage today knowing Our Powerful God has already won the war.

We Are Settling In
I hope all is well for everyone! I can't believe it's almost October! I have really been missing you all in California. We are really praying that we can get more connected in church so that we can make more friends and join a small group.
Kyle has really enjoyed his first official week of work. He has been learning a lot working in the shipping yard. Tomorrow he will be learning about inventory. He is growing a beard for real because he said he was the only one without facial hair at his job. He comes home so dirty that his beard actually looks fuller because of the dirt filling it in. He is looking like a real rustic man.
We can't wait for Grandma Cook to get here next week!! We are so excited. Yaaa!
This week was actually my last week at Charming Charlie because I was trying to juggle nights and days with substituting and I was driving so far. Today I started working at the Hackett Laundry Mat which is owned by our good friends the Williams. It is much closer to home and i am thankful for the opportunity. I am definately trying some new jobs that I would have never thought I would have done before!! I have also subbed in Greenwood and Hackett this week. The kids have been so sweet.
Praise God for all He has done to provide for our needs and helping us to grow.
We also took in a little 4 pound blessing that was found in a horse corral. We have named him Maximus. Hurry Zorro and come meet your new brother! Love you all!

I'm Back!
So it has been one month since I have blogged. Few reasons- one because we have been so busy (which we are thankful for) and two I was feeling overwhelmed and letting all of the changes get to me and I wasn't trusting the Lord in the way that I should. So here I am back on the wagon, praying for protection against Satan's attack and pressing forward.
We have some amazing things to report! Kyle has started his new job at the steel mill and so far he loves it!! We are so thankful to God for this amazing job with great benefits and a steady schedule. He will be working four 12's four days on, four days off. He will switch between nights and days.
We have moved to Hackett which is 25 minutes away from the city. It is just beautiful and we are living in a mobile home, 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, renting from good family friends. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery. We have been painting, cleaning, and unpacking the last few weeks.
I have subbed a few days and continue to work at Charming Charlie. We have tried to take in two different stray dogs only to find out that they live down the street and just wanted a free meal. That's ok I guess. We hope to fly Zorro out this coming week if the weather is cooler. Happy Sunday! I am attending a smaller church this morning with my friend Tatum and Michael. Please continue to pray for protection against Satans attack and pray that we will have a clear vision of how to serve the Lord better in our community. Love you all!

Busy bees
Happy Wednesday! I started my job at Charming Charlie this week! My favorite part... getting to dress cute and go totally overboard on accessories! Oh and I like helping customers find fabulous jewelry and good deals!
Kyle had his interview yesterday and he felt like it went really well... So now we wait. Thank you all for your prayers!
I had taken two sub jobs this week but got called the night before saying it was a glitch in the system and they didn't need a sub so we decided to go hiking at the Devils Den. It was gorgeous!
Last night we watched Kyle's cousin Trey clip some cows to look all pretty for the fair!
We are on our way to Hackett right now. Kyle has a day of farm work ahead of him and I am off to clean the rent house! We haven't seen it yet but we are hoping it will all work out!
Wherever you are I hope you are having a great day and knowing you are loved!

God is so good!! We have a major answer to prayer. Kyle got a call from the steel mill and they said he did awesome on his test! He has an interview this coming Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. We are so thankful for your prayers!
I start my job at Charming Charlie tomorrow! Kyle has been working in Hackett all week brush hogging on a tractor. He loves it! We are praying about renting a house in Hackett from the Williams. It would be right down the street from their chicken houses. I am so excited to see what happens! I just picked up a sub job for Monday and one for Tuesday, both right here in Alma! I am looking forward to working!
Kyle just went riding with Donnie, so now he is a real cowboy. We have so much to be thankful for. Praise the Lord for this amazing week!
