Happy Wednesday! I started my job at Charming Charlie this week! My favorite part... getting to dress cute and go totally overboard on accessories! Oh and I like helping customers find fabulous jewelry and good deals!
Kyle had his interview yesterday and he felt like it went really well... So now we wait. Thank you all for your prayers!
I had taken two sub jobs this week but got called the night before saying it was a glitch in the system and they didn't need a sub so we decided to go hiking at the Devils Den. It was gorgeous!
Last night we watched Kyle's cousin Trey clip some cows to look all pretty for the fair!
We are on our way to Hackett right now. Kyle has a day of farm work ahead of him and I am off to clean the rent house! We haven't seen it yet but we are hoping it will all work out!
Wherever you are I hope you are having a great day and knowing you are loved!

God is so good!! We have a major answer to prayer. Kyle got a call from the steel mill and they said he did awesome on his test! He has an interview this coming Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. We are so thankful for your prayers!
I start my job at Charming Charlie tomorrow! Kyle has been working in Hackett all week brush hogging on a tractor. He loves it! We are praying about renting a house in Hackett from the Williams. It would be right down the street from their chicken houses. I am so excited to see what happens! I just picked up a sub job for Monday and one for Tuesday, both right here in Alma! I am looking forward to working!
Kyle just went riding with Donnie, so now he is a real cowboy. We have so much to be thankful for. Praise the Lord for this amazing week!

More fun
Greetings treasured family and friends! We have had another great week of character building and are feeling a bit more settled even though we don't have solid jobs or a home yet...but God is definately at work as He always is making a way for us.
This week Kyle worked 40 hours at his chicken production job. After countless crazy stories, a weary beat up Kyle decided after much counsel and prayer that Thursday was the end of his raw chicken experience. At minimum wage, the job was leaving him zero time to pursue other jobs, as they were expected to work all 7 days this week at 10 hour shifts. It was quite a learning experience and made us very thankful that this job wasn't his only option which is a sad reality for many.
God is so good, today we had lunch with Ed and Darla Williams (our chicken farmer friends) and Ed offered Kyle some work on his farm starting tomorrow! This will give him the chance to learn and earn a little on the side! We are so thankful for this opportunity.
My interview with KMAC went well but i haven't heard anything yet. I am really leaning toward subbing and working at the fun Charming Charlie's. Hopefully both of those will start in the next few weeks!
Yesterday we were able to spend a little time exploring downtown Van Buren which was so much fun!! With an anniversary present- Kyle was able to buy some much needed work boots. He is soo excited and looks like such a handsome cowboy.
We love you all and are so thankful for your prayers as we seek for wisdom and direction through each of our decisions. Have a wonderful Sunday!!

Lots of action over here!!
Lots of updates!! I hope this finds you doing well!! Thank you genuinely so much for all prayers and for continuing to read!
Kyle started his job on Monday night working at a chicken processing plant. The stories he came home with made me want to cry. It is the most disgusting job ever and he totally hates it. He wanted to quit when he called me on his break last night. But his supervisor noticed him and asked him if he was going to come back tomorrow. He said of course this is my job. His sup said, well out of the 15 that started this week, you and one other guy are the only ones left. So yes he went back for his third night tonight. He is so my hero!!! He said he knows God must have him there for a reason. What a lucky wife I am truly. He took his test for the steel mill on Monday and they said that they wouldn't make a decision for a couple of weeks. Please pray that Kyle will have the strength to stick with this job for now and that God will open the right door.
In my corner, I was offered a position at the trucking company, but after much prayer and tears I turned it down. I have an interview with KMAC -Taco Bell franchise group out here tomorrow morning at 9:00 so we will see how that goes. It is a bookkeeping position. In the meantime I have taken a part time position at an accessory store called Charming Charlie!! I'm so excited! And I have signed up to sub in 5 different districts! That is what you do when you are bored I guess!! Haha! God is so good! And I have struggled with trying to put my hope in jobs this week. God showed me this gem today Proverbs 18:11 "A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his own imagination." Money sure puts up a false sense of security, but God You are the only place true security lies! Well gotta go to bed for my interview! Good night!!

Kyle is my greatest good
I just have to say that I have the most amazing husband ever. He loves me when I am happy, sad, worried, bratty, stubborn... He shows me what love looks like and has been so patient with me during the hard times this last year. I am so thankful for him. He makes me laugh and I don't care where we move I just want to spend the rest of my days beside him. Today is our 6 year anniversary! I know it may seem like I am bragging but it doesn't seem right not to considering all that God has done in our lives over the last few years since we have let Him. I give God all the praise and glory for changing both of our hearts and showing us how amazing life can be if we just do our best to read and follow His Word.
As for the last few days... They have raced by:
- we traded in the Yukon for a Toyota Camry
- kyle bought a $2,000 dodge Dakota - one word-awesome
- kyle starts his new job tomorrow night at a chicken processing plant- ewww gross
- he has a test tomorrow a.m. For the steel mill position- please pray!! This is the one we want...
- I have an interview with charming Charlie's tomorrow- so excited!
God is working here and I KNOW His Hand is on our lives. He has given us wisdom when we ask. Thank Lord for all You are doing!!

From Zero to Fifty
Hello everyone!! So this week has been VERY eventful so far. We are seriously considering trading our car in for something more gas efficient and have been to a few dealerships. Man they make it hard to say no. Plus looking for a truck for Kyle so we are really praying over this.
Yesterday Kyle had a weird experience at OK Foods and walked away with a full time night position on the production line! Minimum wage, but at least it's something! He starts Monday night! Then he got a call back today from Gerdau and they want him to continue in the interview process! He goes in for a skills test on Monday morning!
I got two calls for interviews today - one for Charming Charlie on Monday and a second interview at USA Truck for tomorrow. Yikes so many decisions! We are praying for wisdom! Please pray that God will give us clear direction and place us where He wants us.
The best part of our week was last night- going to Tatum and Michaels house in Hackett. They made us a lovely dinner and we shot guns and explored the wilderness!
God is SO amazing! We give Him all the praise and glory for our new friendships, job opportunities and all He has given us here!
We will be going to Bible study here real soon to hear Brother Bob and eat Chik Fila! It is super hot this week but we are surviving! Love you all!
